Het succes van Fashion day Out Sao Vicent zorgde voor een tweede mogelijkheid. Wederom werd Fashion Day Out in de gelegenheid gesteld om modeontwerpers een podium te bieden, maar dit keer tijdens een groot festival. Op Sodade Festival te Sao Vicente, stonden niet alleen de gevestigde ontwerpers in de schijnwerpers. Ook ontwerpers afkomstig uit de Verenigde Staten mochten hun ontwerpen aan het grote publiek tonen.
Het was een waardevolle ervaring waarbij de ontwerpers onderling hebben kunnen leren van de overeenkomsten en verschillen van hun land.
